Before you go on, this page is not purely political! We welcome you to the WilmDems page, and since you might not know who we are, we have this handy page to tell you about us. WilmDems is a group of local volunteers who are members of the Democratic Party for the City of Wilmington. We come together for meetings to deal with issues of neighborhood and city interest and we do some political fundraising and volunteering, too.
Wilmington Democrats City Committee
The City Committee is comprised of the chairs of each of the eight Wards in addition to the following members:

Democratic Ward Committees
The following committees are part of the Wilmington City Committee, and the chair of each committee sits on the City Committee. In addition, each Ward Committee has two members for each election district within the Ward. Each of these members is elected to their position by Democrats in their Ward for a term of four years. These elections take place after the Presidential Election. Vacant positions can be filled by the committee itself through a nomination process at one of their meetings. Please contact us if you are interested in participating. There are associate positions available when all other committee positions are filled.
